Hey y’all.
So right now it’s is 11:17am, and this is ridiculously early for me.
The curse of summer of course is that I stay up till 6am, and sleep till like 2pm. But of course today I ahd to get up at 8:30am to go to the doctors. Trust me, I wanted too shoot myself. But I was a trooper, and I got up and with very little complaining I went to the doctors. Of course I was supremly pissed as that is the general affect not sleeping enough has on me, but still I did not complain. But basically all this writing is only because of the large sugar-free redbull I just drank. That stuff is like the elixir of life. Especially since it’s summer and I have no desire to drink coffee in the summer. But yeah, school is only a few weeks away. Which is making me very sad. I really don’t want to go back to school, and I haven’t really done anything this summer. Plus with junior year coming up, I am going to have sooo much work. I’m taking an extra academic class this year too, so my schedule will be packed! *sigh* Oh well…
In other news, I’m becoming a moderator on the Thorspace.com forum!
Yay I know! I have like the most posts, so I was a natural pick. Anyway, I’m off to Baltimore tomorrow for a few days, but I plan on bringing the laptop. So expect some nerdy posts about anime and Otakon (which is why I’m going to Baltimore) to come up in the next few days.

looking for somethign new and different for your iPod? Well I have the answer for you. The Pierces. The Pierces is a siter act basically. Comprising of Allison and Catherin Pierce, they both have a lot of talent. Their newest record “13 Tales of Love and Revenge” Is a total hit. Basically you’ll find a killer mix of psychadelic, folk, rock, and much more on here. Now althought their first cd ( a country record) was a bit of a flop, their new stuff is amazing.
Now the Pierces aren’t exactly new, but they’re not quite famous yet, but they have had their music featured on Gossip Girl (which is how I found them) last fall. So go check them out! Go!

It’s insomnia again. You see, my general lack of sleep often leads to me being incredibly creative. Unfortuantly I’m not being quite creative in my writing. So, I assure all fo you that soon I will have better posts soon! Once my life becomes more interesting and I ahve stuff to talk about.

Sorry for my absence kids, I’ve been busy with stuff. So uh here’s a good filler post I guess.
Yeah so I have all but finalized my list of colleges I’m interested in and here it is: Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Dartmouth, Amherst, Boston University, New York University, and Georgetown.
So as you can see 50% of the colleges I’m looking at are Ivies. So wish me luck, even though i won’t be applying for like and year and a half. But it’s good to know where you’re applying now I guess. Oh and that’s pretyt much the order of my interest too. Yeah, so for the next year and a half I have a lot of work ahead of me. 4.0’s, volunteering, SAT’s, essays, and more. Wish me luck!
Oh iPhone
I got my iPhone today, it’s fabulous. I’m in love with it. I’ve been using it all dya, I only have one problem with it. The battery life sucks. It’s quite sad really. Plus, I have issues with the wi-fi. Besides that it’s great,
Raw Food-ing
So I’ve decided to try a raw food diet for a few weeks. Since I’ve gained 7 whole pounds. I’m still way below the average weight for my height, but I feel that my old weight is just a much better one to be at. So I’m going to do my research, and then start next week. So, I’ll be eliminating the staple food in my diet: pasta. Wish me luck everyone! I really want to trim my gut. So here goes nothing.
The Panic, The Paranoia, The Pain.
That’s right kids, it’s time for a good college talk. For anyone concerned my top three college choices are: Harvard, Yale, and Columbia. Not necessarily in that order though, either way I’ve been reading more of that book mentioned in the below post and it has come to my attention that I am completely doomed, because I am white. Yep, if I was black or hispanic I would be a shoe in, great grades, good extracurriculars, talent, and a great personality. Unfortunately about 15,000 other applicants fall into the same category. Which can only mean that I need to get better grades, pursue even more academic classes, and do more extras.
On another Ivy League note, recently Gawker has supplied the general public with another interesting Craigslist posting. In said posting a family is looking for a nanny for their 5 children, one who happens to be 19, and starting his first yeear at Columbia. So I ask, why is it that some kid that is completely dependent gets into one of the top elite schools in the country? Money is how. Which is why being in the middleclass sucks. The Ivies love poor kids, and they love rich kids. So where does that leave the rest of us?
Now that I’m done complaining on to some more interesting news from another favorite blog. IvyGate recently posted about the new movie “W” which follows the life of George W Bush before he became president. All in all, it seems like a great movie to go to and laugh at. Bascially for the price of admission you get to see your president imprisoned, yelled at, and drunk. Sounds like a bargain to me.

So today was a day f gettin new stuff. Which I do love. Today I got a new tie from DKNY. It was on sale for just $10, so I’m pretty siked about that, then I got ymself a new book about getting into Harvard. From the little of it I read so far I would like to say tha tI liek it very much. It’s called Fat Envelope Frenxy, and is written by Joie Jager-Hyman. So if you’re a fellow ivy hopeful it’s a good book to grab.
Now the bigger news is that I got a new cellphone. Now I just got a new phone recently, but me and my father were dissatisfied with it. It was a Samsung Instinct and it was just not very good. So we deicded that going ahead and buying the iPhone would be best. So today we switched over to AT&T and put in an order for two 16GB iPhone 3G’s. Basically I have a temporary nokia till I get my iPhone. WHich should come in up to three weeks. I’m hoping it will only take one week. Besides that there isn’t much news todya, well there is but I don’t really want to write to much on my personbal problems till I resolve this one. Ta ta for now.
